The cover features a 60mm internal tray depth for concrete or screed infill to go below your surface finish. When installed, this cover meets FACTA AAA at a minimum, making it suitable for pedestrian use. However, when fitted with an extra 20mm concrete bedding surround, the manhole cover will also withstand light vehicles.
If you have difficulty clarifying what the clear opening size corresponds to, please refer to the second image (above). The best way to decide which cover is most suitable for you is by measuring the hole in the ground that is being covered as this is what the clear opening corresponds to.
